Octal to Decimal Converter
Convert octal (base 8) numbers to decimal (base 10).
Decimal
Octal to decimal, explained
Each octal digit represents a power of 8, increasing from right to left (1, 8, 64, 512…). To convert, multiply each digit by its place value and add them up — so 377 = 3×64 + 7×8 + 7 = 255. This converter accepts arbitrarily large octal numbers and runs entirely in your browser.
