About BMI Prime Calculator
BMI Prime is a dimensionless ratio of a person's BMI to the upper limit of the normal BMI range (25 kg/m²). A BMI Prime of exactly 1.0 corresponds to a BMI of 25. Values below 1.0 are in the healthy range, values above 1.0 indicate overweight. The Ponderal Index (Rohrer's Index) is an alternative body composition metric that scales weight by the cube of height rather than the square, making it more appropriate for very tall or very short individuals.
