How weighted grades work

A weighted grade sums each component's score multiplied by its weight, then divides by the total weight. If weights don't add up to 100%, the calculator still gives the correct weighted average for the defined portion. For example, an 88% homework (20%), 75% midterm (30%), and 92% final (50%) yields 85.1% — a B. All calculations run in your browser, nothing is saved.
